Important information about your library membership

Dear Patron:

The board of the Russell & District Regional Library make financial decisions based upon the data collected to operate, maintain and charge for services it offers. The board is requesting updated information to help accumulate the data it needs to apply for grants and budgeting purposes.

How will this will happen?

All Patrons will be asked to fill out a new Application for Library Card (clicking on this link will download a .doc file to your device).

  • All Patron accounts will be temporarily blocked and then unblocked once the Membership Application Form has been submitted either by dropping it off, mailing it or emailing.
  • Everyone will be receiving a copy of this form in the mail.
  • If you do not receive a copy in your mailbox within the next week, please stop by the library to fill one out, it will also be uploaded to the library’s website for your convenience.
  • In order to avoid account interruption entirely, please stop in to either the Russell or Binscarth Library.

We hope everyone understands and cooperates through this process.

For Patrons outside the RM of Russell~Binscarth, we require a $50.00 annual non-resident membership fee accompanied with the Membership Application Form.

NOTE:  Riding Mountain West Patrons will be issued a receipt and reimbursed by their Municipality.
