Permanent residents from the RM of Russell Binscarth and the RM of Riding Mountain West may join the library free of charge.
Membership Responsibilities
The library cardholder agrees to be responsible for all materials borrowed and to abide by the rules and regulations of the Parkland Regional Library.
- You are responsible for all the materials borrowed on your card and for any charges on items that are overdue, lost or damaged. Loan periods vary for different collections. If the cardholder is under 18, the parent or guardian is responsible for all materials borrowed.
- Your library card provides access to licensed databases from outside the library. You may also look at our catalogue from home over the Internet, and access your account to place holds, keep lists and renew items.
- Please take care of your library materials and return all items in good complete condition and on time for use by the next person.
Lost or stolen cards
If you lose your library card, you are responsible for any items checked out on your card. You must report it as lost immediately.
Change of address or password
It is important for us to have your current information. If you change your address or other personal information, please contact the library and we’ll update your record.
Children and Library Accounts
We encourage all members within a family to sign up and use their own individual accounts. This allows for better management of items as well as teaches the importance of responsibility.
