Dear Reader:
Amy & Ed. Amy & Ed are a musical duo of singers and guitar players that leave in their wake happy people. On Wednesday, June 5th, Amy & Ed were the cherry on top of Russell and District Regional Library’s Kick Off to Summer Hot Dog Sales and Farmer’s Markets. Two 45-minute sets, a standing ovation and an encore performance for a standing room only crowd are tell-tale signs of good entertainment. Thank you, Amy and Ed.
In honour of our patrons and the community at large, we like to provide excellent service, host events and bring back meaning to the moniker Friendly Manitoba every chance we get. Russell & District Regional Library begins welcoming people long before they enter our doors. Whether you call the library or just drive by, our friendly librarians and colourful array of petunias and perennials flaunting their natural beauty in our flowerbeds are here to serve and welcome. Thank you to Prairie Gardener of Russell, MB for their contribution to this year’s petunias planted along Russell Library’s sidewalks. While Libraries do not typically fall under the umbrella of The Hospitality Industry, Russell & District Regional strives to show great hospitality as a part of maintaining its valued and valuable position as a cornerstone of society.
