Dear Reader:
Summer in review @ Russell & District Regional Library: Russell Library Farmer’s Market and Hot Dog Sale began in June, every Friday from 11:00 am – 2:00 pm, and will continue for several more weeks. Every Thursday, (until end of August), at the Binscarth Library, Christine and Madison conducted a Hot Dog Sale from 12:00 – 2:00 pm. Wednesday evenings at Russell Library there were hot dog sales as well as Bookworm Burt Storytimes. The Library Ladies participated in the Binscarth Canada Day Parade. We began the gargantuan task of inventory at both Binscarth and Russell Library. Russell Library hosted her first Field Placement: Jenny Kostuik spent two weeks working, learning, and sharing her knowledge with us. A delightful exchange. We began updating our Patron files. Library Manager, Christine has been going about town with donation request letters for local businesses. If you have not received yours, fear not, you will. Madison Haliuk was with us as our Summer Student for her second consecutive summer. Alas, Madison has aged out of the Summer Student age bracket and so it is that we had to bid her adieu. That was our summer, in a nutshell.
The following is so important that we are running it again. Please keep your eyes open for our monthly Events Calendar at https://russellbinscarthlibrary.ca/
