Friday June 9th was our first Farmers’ Market Friday of 2023. We welcomed 6 vendors providing us with a variety of in season produce, preserves, jams and jellies, baked items, honey and honey products, gluten free smokies and sausages, and onsite massage. We also had our summer student Madison and library manager, Christine, cooking hotdogs for our weekly Friday hotdog fundraiser.
On Wednesday June 28th, the Russell Library will be hosting the Filipino Fiesta. The Fiesta will include Filipino vendors, Zumba, karaoke, and of course Filipino food!
New Books at the Russell Library:

Be sure to join us on Wednesday evenings in the Russell Library Greenspace for stories, games, music, and snacks, and of course hot dogs. This summer we will also be hosting a Wednesday evening Farmers’ Market from 6:00 PM –8:00 PM. Come check out the amazing produce (in season), baked goods, jams and jellies, and more!
Thursday’s in Binscarth will continue to be Hotdog Thursdays with proceeds going toward the library. We applaud those who came out for hotdogs on June 8th despite the rainy cloudy day! The third Thursday of every month will continue to be “Cookies, Coffee, and Cards” in Binscarth at the Library. Join us for snacks and coffee along with conversation and cards/games.
The Binscarth Library also welcomes the Little Bloomers Daycare kids to the library every second Tuesday for Storytime and crafts. It is so awesome to see the smiling faces of young people at the library!
