Mother’s Day is around the corner, and, while every day is a kind of Mother’s day, May 14th is as good a day as any to turn into an official celebration.  In honour of Mothers, Russell & District Regional Library Branches are holding a raffle:  a beautiful terracotta pot that contains three books, (Gardening Naturally, Best Trees and Shrubs, Best Ground covers and Vines for the Prairies, all by Sara Williams and Hugh Skinner), and a $15.00 gift certificate to Prairie Gardener Greenhouses.

The Russell and District Regional Library is expanding its children’s literature to include Tagalog language books.  Saturday Story Time at the Library has begun at The Russell Branch from now until June 30th.  Please see posters around Binscarth & Russell as well as on the  Binscarth and Russell Facebook pages, for more details.
